The height above the backsplash would depend on the height of your counter. Typically, I would advise that the top of the medicine cabinet be about 69"-70" off the floor. I would also advise that the bottom of the cabinet be about 48" off the floor. If your counter is 35" above the floor, and you have a 4" backsplash, this would put the bottom of your medicine cabinet 9" above the backsplash. (There would be enough room to squeeze a power outlet / shaver socket in the 9" gap).
