The den shall be a comfortable, informal space for adults to relax either alone, as a couple, or as a small group. This room is intended to be a kids-free zone when company is over, a place where the adults can socialize and amuse themselves away from the kids. One may use this room to read, watch TV, socialize, surf the web, play video games, or enjoy refreshments. This room should have comfy couch(es), chair(S), bookshelves, TV, fireplace, and [budget permitting] a mini-bar (sink/mini fridge). This room may be combined with the study, if space or budget do not allow for separate rooms. They may even be next to one another, connected by a door (maybe french doors).
