ANR: Not crazy about this tile, but I liked the apple green in the back of the cabinets as a way of incorporating color. More of a pantry idea than a kitchen idea.

ANR: Cabinets are nice and I like these apron sinks. This is on the too dull/generic side, definitely needs livening up with tile and hardware.

ANR: I'm in love with this window, we already decided to use an exact copy of this over kitchen sink. Excited!!!!

ANR: Would really like to use idea of the wooden countertop in the butlers panty. Also maybe the use of rugs over wooden floor in kitchen...need to find a practical easily clean solution for this.

ANR: Love artwork in kitchen, Kurt likes this tile, I think it's ok but a bit too subtle....would like to do something a bit bolder with tile since everything else is going to be pretty simple. Here they have incorporated color into the cabinetry, but we would not be going with the colored cabinets.

ANR: Initially attracted to bookcase on end of island, but in our configuration will need seating on that end, so that's likely impractical. As an alternative, maybe we can incorporate a bookcase in another part of the kitchen in a interesting place.
