Ground cover....wooly thyme?
These are full color bluestone slabs. We use a class v base of about 3-5" to tamp down the flagstone so they don't heave and stay in place.
It is low maintenance-1.5 inches of pea gravel over 2 inches of crusher run gravel- Just periodic raking is all the maintenance needed.
