Like the green. Can the kitchen have some green cabinets with the older white tile/brick and wood. I would think the wood would not be the espresso I have mentioned frequently, probably more red tone.

These cabinets reminded me that I like kitchen cabinets that are open and show nicely stacked/arranged stuff (like mom) but I am not that organized in the kitchen, so this approach of having some closed and some open would probably work well. This would apply to cabinets in the study, dinning room, family room, etc.
