Kitchen
beams and beadboard ceiling
Again, making the cabinetry flush with the refrigerator.
making the cabinets near the refrigerator extend out so they are flush with the refrigerator, making it look more built-in.
like the woven chair backs as a contrast to the smooth light cabinets and counters
contrasting wood on island vs cabinets
Banquette seating by french doors
the colors
wood floors
The woodwork on the glass cabinets, the overhang on the island where the stools are located.
Love that the backsplash covers the entire wall.
another view of that kitchen
Like that some of the cabinets extend to the ceiling, others do with molding and others do not. Also like the variance in the depth of the cabinets for interest, so it doesn't look like a flat wall of cabinets. Like the hideaway breadbox, or whatever that is. Would like a similar cabinet with glass paneling as a focal piece you see as you walk in the front door.
The feel of this look...the crispness, just love it.
the colors...the green tile against the white with the dark floor.
space saver for silverware
Tile backsplash
Painted beadboard ceiling!
hidden storage for charging devices. Maybe not necessarily in a drawer...
Windows.
Not the open shelving look but just having a work area built into the kitchen for paying bills/ laptop.
Molding around the doorway to the stairs in the other room (in our case, the door between the kitchen and the dining room). Also love the paneled fridge but know that expense is $$$.
Definitely like having some hiding spots for appliances...can't stand when they sit out!
Know we need more contrasted grain in our floors to hide dirt but love the textured, hand scraped look to these.
Same kitchen...different angle. Like the color scheme.
Love the coloring...similar to what we like...white/cream cabinets, wood floor, granite counter with coloring to hide crumbs/spills.
Nice hideaway spot for kids's school papers.
Wood floors similar to this...dark but with enough grain to hide dirt. wide planks. Like the way it looks against the painted white. Crisp contrast.
