Alix - I am wondering if you were successful. This kitchen has the EXACT same corner windows as you and for now we are looking for a simple fix to update the 6' x 5' corner cabinets and countertop on a small budget. IKEA seems like the best option with all new lowers and the corner cabinet hack HOWEVER, we are considering keeping the existing corner cabinet and simply replacing the cabinets on either side to upgrade with soft close. We have a very handy man who has built several homes and I have confidence in his ability but don't want him to be over burdened. Any advice would be more than welcome.
