master bedroom idea, sunny walls, blue quilt. probably not ship lap, because it could get expensive in a full room like this. is the quilt you have, something you could use on your bed? or wall art only? DG: my quilt fits a double or queen, but with the cream color base, I'm reluctant to use it on the bed routinely. I'm thinking about hanging it in the upstairs hallway since that wall is big enough.
I like this idea, but I'd recommend wallpaper that gets installed with paste. not peel and stick. I've not had a lot of luck with those types actually staying put. let's keep looking. this design reminds me of the quilt designs. let's see if we can find something similar.
accent wall, living room. ship lap, painted white. wall w/ stairs. DG: Like the concept. Same color as ceiling or other walls? Getting stuck on the details...thermostat, baseboards, transitions, etc. LE: I'd recommend the same color as the ceiling so it's an accent. you have good trim on the stairs, so I wouldn't change that, in fact it would look nice against the white. when they install shiplap, they can push out the electrical so it's still on top.
DG: Love the idea of something interesting on that high wall in the stairwell; I'm not sure about reclaimed wood with the rest of the decor? White is great for some brightness. If the stair wall in the living room is shiplap, maybe repeat here, or do something that is more like art? LE: sure, you could carry over shiplap. art is possible, but can be pretty expensive for a large piece. but would depend on what it is.
dusty purple with slight tan undertone. this would work with existing wood dressers DG: not real big on purple at the moment
