California Bungalow
Perfect landscape for Thorn Street.
This is a perfect layout for the front. Different planting with drifts of purple. Path from front gate in tessellated tile. This walk & one from front garage in crazy stone. Deco driveway.
Lattice on the window box. I want lattice where the slatts are (angle trumps planted in front). Gates with a lattice detail too.
This is how I would layout the front. Would like jade vine up the driveway forming a tunnel. Different planting (More grasses Purple flowers front, turquoise up the drive).
Window Box & curved garden bed with tree (good for messy tree - less clean up). Layout the front much the same. Perhaps with angel trumps under the window box. More grasses less flowering bedding plants.
I do love the lattice. Might be a nice upgrade for the timber slats too. Garden with purple plants & a blue/green trim (& a dirty cream). This is a lovely colour scheme).
Lattice Gate.
Stone path and pergola
Flax with silver foliage is a pretty combo. Good coloured flax for the red brick.
Great use of Angel Trumpets (apricot one might be nice with the red brick and purple - front garden away from the dogs).
Flax and other grasses are the perfect plant for an Arts and Crafts.
Low railings & pots.
Just love the stone path for a Arts & Crafts home.
tree placement
Use for extra bricks.
Grasses and fountain
Built in furniture and panelling.

Lovely Craftsman Kitchen. Enough space for a freestanding island/table
Built-in seating offers another opportunity to showcase beautiful natural wood and simple, elegant designs. If space permits, consider a built-in banquette breakfast area, either within or adjacent to the kitchen.
white painted wood work for the new bits
Clutter and garish machine-made products were rejected in favor of hand-crafted items, with an emphasis on preserving the natural qualities of the materials. Lines were clean and simple, and the flora and fauna of the British countryside inspired textiles and wallpaper patterns.
Light coloured wall sconces. Like the lighting in the hutch too.
Green Glass
Built in banquette
The lower ceiling, canted walls and opportunity for built-ins makes the upstairs (attic) rooms in a bungalow quite appealing.
Original bungalow kitchens were often basic and modest. Subsequent remodeling and renovation has created kitchens that accommodate today's lifestyles. Craftsman details, stained wood trim and cabinetry with the look and feel of furniture maintains the vintage quality of this home.
Doors lead to the side yard - like this for a BBQ area.
All of the living room’s woodwork, such as the wainscoting, columns and coffered ceiling, was restored to replicate its original look. “The look is the same and historically accurate. It’s just made more soundly, with better materials,” Stiegler says.
