Are shower floors generally smaller tiles than the rest of the floor? If so, I kind of like the subway tile with the herringbone pattern floor. But is so much grout a pain to keep clean?

This is about the color of our vanity. I like it with a light countertop. Also, for the floor, I would go with something lighter, I think, a single color and very little grout.
