Needs a shot of color but I like the mix of wood and grey/white neutrals, the similar color palette but varied textures between the countertops and backsplash

Color pallet: I like that it's light and airy without being all white

I like the neutral color pallet with the contrast navy island. Would like to see an additional pop of color tho

The black is a little too severe, but I like how the color is tied into the next room with the large format wallpaper

The clean color pallete. It’s bright without being white and boring. Also the contrast wood island.

Kitchen hood

I like the shape and how it provides contrast to the cabinets around it. The proportion of the curve relative to the depth and width of the space it occupies feels more balanced.

The hood is a focal element, but it looks intentional. I like the shape of it, that it fills the space between the upper cabinets and that the contrast is intentional.

Good example of what I DON'T like - the hood sticks out, the empty space between the upper cabinets and the hood. Looks incongruous.

Not 100% sold on this hood design but I do like how it blends with the cabinets on either side

Hood syle. Posting as a point of discussion, not 100% sold on this look.

Posting as a point of discussion on the hood and open shelving in the corner. Not sure I totally like this, but worth looking at as a point of comparison.

I like the sight lines from the kitchen and how the main island feels like a continuous part of the great room and is easy for people to come hang out without interfering with the person cooking. (OCR)

I like the light and openness of the kitchen and the flow into the butler's pantry. (OCR)
