I like the white cabinets and grey crackle subway tile, but also the crown molding added to the soffits to make them look more like part of the cabinets. If we can't get rid of the soffits in our kitchen, this is a good way of making them less noticeable.

We could do the bench seating and a round table that has a leaf to extend it when we need more space. But otherwise we typically keep it small and that way it's not in the way of traffic through the door.
