49 Manters Exterior
We definitely need a second, informal entry area that can handle a lot of "stuff". You've seen our breezeway! In the summer it is full of lifejackets, towels, and more towels hanging on hooks outside the back door. It has a ton of the shoes, dog walking things, sailing and boating gizmos, even storage for snow pants, golf balls, etc. I like this one because it doesn't have those dedicated personal locker "cubbies" that are so popular. This looks inviting, bench-style, washed wood, wide bead board with hooks. And easy to clean!!
Wow, I like elements of front of this house. Although it's got a lot going on, and too big. But there are different elements I like. The arched covered porch entrance, small round window, neat little dormer, heavy soffit. I think our cottage roof has beams under the soffit though... probably this is a bit too modern for us.
For the overhang outdoor dining room / grill area. Like the wood on ceiling and ground absorbing some of the glare from western exposure. It won't be as big a space as this, but I like how it doesn't feel dark, and has a "solid" feel to it. Plus shades could be lowered from the overhang to block the setting sun.
For the wall - adirondack chair grouping
