I really look how those comfortable chairs flank both sides of the fireplace with a sofa adjacent. (Not a fan of the pattern rug or the glass coffee table. A white rug, and a low-lying, large wood coffee table would look great here.)

I'm drawn to the color palate - the wood, the white, the dark and grey. I wish the floor was a whitewash wood or a cream-color marble.

I like the Asian slant to the decor.

What appeals to me is the contrast of cold hard (with that fireplace wall), and soft/warm (with the soft sofa).
I don't like the orange accent pictures.

Like how clean and simple this is, but is probably overly impractical and borderline "stiff" with those two waiting room chairs.

This picture is about the rug. I haven't found any image I like where there is a patterned rug. Plain and fairly invisible works. This light grey is nice against the whitewash / beige flooring.

DONT LIKE - I tend to hate the pictures that have something thrown in for a splash of color.

Love this color palate. It's also clean and minimalist, but with warmth.
Q
Photo
DONT LIKE - This just looks too impractical and staged; it's also overall too dark. Otherwise, I like how clean and minimalist it is.

What I like specifically in this picture is that recliner chair that has been incorporated into the design nicely.

I like how clean this is. I like that the couches are large enough to actually sit a whole family, and they are modern but also soft enough to be comfortable.
Again, I like the contrast of grey, white, wood (or beige color in this case), and dark.

I like the contrasting white furniture, dark wall and light floor - I believe this is what we will have. I also like the recliner chair that fits in well with the overall design. I don't like the orange pillows, the metal center table or whatever is bordering the stairs.

I like the idea of a very comfortable leather chair like this for Chris to watch the news, have his after-exercise smoothie and coffee etc. It's hard to find a "recliner" equivalent that doesn't look awful. But combining design and functionality is very important to me.

What I like about this image (only) are those leather chairs contrasting against the sofas.
Q
Photo
DONT LIKE - It's cold, hard and sterile. It looks like the lobby of a Courtyard by Marriott.
Q
Photo
DONT LIKE - the sofa looks hard as a rock. The glass table top is not my style. Those love seats also look cold and horrible.
Q
Photo
Again, like a lot of white, paired with wood and grey.
Q

I like how this is also very clean and modern, but has some warmth. The seating has some softness. The tables are a little rustic. But overall is stays minimalist. I also like the white furniture.
Q
Photo
I like the simplicity of the thin table (you barely notice it) and the rug that isn't a focal point. I also like the contrast of wood, white, grey, and black.
Q
Photo
DON'T LIKE - This is too cold, too monochrome, too grey, no warmth.
Q
Photo
I like how clean / no clutter this is. Unrealistic and impractical, though?
Q

I like how clean and open it is. I like the non-chunky furniture, and leather (because it is practical).
It is probably too impractical for a family of five.
