A lot. Who needs a tv when there is something to look at outside.

Layout. You can lookout window and watch tv. The raised? Tiered island with a sink will work if sink at window is not achievable. Requirement is not to get dirty dish water all over the island. Don’t like stovetops that don’t nestle into a kitchen wall. Again I am a messy cook. Ranges at windows is ridiculous as grease, food splatter happens. Nobody wants kitchen clean up to include degreasing windows every time you cook. Some design ideas are just plain impracticable or even stupid.

Good use of space. Exit to garage . Hopefully there is an exit that leads to yard, even a dog door that forces dogs into a dog run far away from entertaining areas for relieving themselves. Sink should be near door to yard. Anything logical to keep dirty (even pool wet) feet, paws out of main home. Add simple 3/4 bath with lockers for dry clothes for access from outside for pool use and when dirty from sweaty gardening if possible. Doesn’t need to be fancy just highly functional and organized well. This makes for a clean home! Outside bathrooms are toooo expensive to install. Use area of home that makes sense and is the least desirable for any other purposes from the outside. Maybe a quad space with doors connecting the four spaces - 1)mud room area with access to/from garage 2) laundry area with pet tending-feeding station and access to dog run. 3) 3/4 bath 4) extra fridge and stuff for pool use; towels etc Not sure

Exit door, access to laundry and a bath that can be closed off by a door of some kind. Key elements. Needs a folding station and storage for brooms, mops, planting tools and chemical. Needs to make sense. Maybe mini fridge for cold drinks when working or playing outside.
