Another pretty design, but I don’t think I like the stained wood. It gives it a heavier, more intrusive feel, at least in the pic. (Remember we like all things light and bright.)

I have always liked beamed ceilings especially with a cathedral ceiling, but with a flat ceiling I think I prefer coffered.
