Remodel
windows/nightstands flanking bed
I love these bent plywood barstools, but I wish I could find them in a zebra wood- would be a fabulous accent
with white cabinets nice to have a backsplash with some color value to it for contrast- not ALL white & too stark.
ok i love this metal pineapple canister- a little glam welcome
nice overall look, well done
pretty glass pear pendant for over a round dining table
black island, herringbone tile, & brass accent lighting- seeing this a lot
nice glass pendants & wall color (light neutral with soft greenish yellow undertone). consider roman shade at sink?
like this darker gray for island base- not as dramatic as black, but it's darker than the lighter gray that's so popular now...like the distressed rug too (in a different color way)
definitely going to be considered a current trend, but the brass shades on the pendants are a nice accent
again- liking the big shade pendant, but in this kitchen i would have made the shade black for bold contrast & interest. looking at the base of island detail- i like that the side supports are not a "leg"- just part of the whole side as one piece
again, not sure I'd rule out a black base island. black would hide kids' scuff marks if seated & kick on bar stool and it's classic...and not cliche gray
i keep finding myself drawn to these oversized shaded pendants...color should be in contrast with upper cabinet color. like the brass interior of shade...the glass pendants are pretty, but almost cliche, and these are just a little more interesting/bold/statement
this is a reminder that where the countertop projects out for bar seating, I do NOT like the look of a separate leg on the ends- just let the counter float, unless there's support needed- need to look at that detail, because I generally hate the look of legs there
has a nice overall feel to it. the backsplash is a nice tight linear look, if decide herringbone is too much. nice pendants.
i had a thought of a black island...since gray is so painfully on trend. looks nice with brass. our floors would be darker espresso color. like the backsplash. just have to be careful it doesn't read like a black & white kitchen
like the bent plywood bar stools and maybe the clear glass pendants & vintage filament bulbs
like the backsplash
for thought- darker (not black) counter with white cabs and light counter on darker island base
like the idea of possibly adding a dull brass accent somewhere- lighting or pulls
other view of same kitchen
nice use of color- subtle soft neutrals, and not so monochromatic
like the dark wood floor with white cabs & gray base on island as an option. also like the accent glass front cabs on the side; do not like that range hood!
nice overall look, like the backsplash & combo of white with dark wood
similar layout to ours, with wall ovens added
like the cabinets & drawer pulls
like the cabinets & overall look, but would have a darker finish on the island base
like the cabinet faces
barrel vault in gable roof entry
