OK! Living Room areas...This is just to give you a concept of having your living room arrangement be off of the walls and centered in the middle...helps you visualize?

Here's a good visual. Primary seating and also secondary seating with 2 chairs. AND an arched doorway!
Q
Photo
Upholstery all the same color-very monochromatic.
Q

Many of these rooms have a focal point, such as a fireplace, window or bookcases. I think we need to also discuss making one wall the accent we build around -
Q
Photo
This room uses color and artwork for the focal point to work in room arrangement.
Q
Photo
Notion of using bay for pillows to add color and interest? (Not sure from the street how it would look-just a thought-I do like the visul to the interior-very inviting.
Q
Photo
I could absolutely envision this type of look in front of the bay windows.
Q
Photo
They have used a round area rug to define the space-that's nice. I think you'd have to shout to one another in order to hear? Awfully big, picture on more intimate level.
Q
Photo
This arrangement they have titled a 'Sitting Room'. I like wrapping our heads around that idea.
Q
Photo
Here's a good visual on the room being one space. I know we have the doorways/traffic flow to contend with.
Q
Photo
Example of different style furniture. This room centered around the fireplace. (Not sure what they have against a cocktail table!)
Q
Photo
Shape of chairs-rounded always look nice angled in to the arrangement.
Q
Photo
I really like the concept of a round table such as this, for pulling arrangement together. I'm not sure if we'll have 1 primary seating area and an add'l secondary area...
Q
Photo
I like style of these chairs. Somewhat the look I can see in dining room for chairs.
Q
Photo
Picture 2 chairs in front of bay window and working them into the middle of the room concept?
Q
Photo
OK, work w/me here! So, there's arched doorways. Visualize 2 smaller sofas facing one another and cocktail table in the center...do 'we' like this feel? Bay windows would substitute for a fireplace.
Q
Photo
I love combination of a velvet sofa or loveseat, and 2 barrel chairs.
Q
Photo
Center of room becomes the focal point-it says that this room is for conversation with drinks!
Q
Photo
Starting in on Kitchen inspiration now! Flooring look in 'sheets', rather than planks. I'm guessing this is concrete-may not be very 'friendly. Area Rugs. Yet, I like the large squares-if the whole kitchen fam room-would make room feel quite spacious.
Q
Photo
I like the recessed ceiling idea for emphasizing the lighting.
Q
Photo
Visual if you moved sink to island. This layout would work nicely in your kitchen on a much larger scale. Sink would look out to fam room, for example.
Q
Photo
The counters are really nice, note the dark counters around perimeter, and then the white quartz 'we like' on island with a dark color on cabinets. Switched color schemes-gives a nice contrast. I like the lighter floor. What do you think of backsplash pattern in the Chevron.
Q
Photo
Contrast of all white with darker wood floors.
Q
Photo
Check out the quartz movement behind the range!
Q
Photo
Check out the island, along w/shape. Interesting the chairs sit facing kitchen, rather than fam room.
Q
Photo
Here is a great example of an 8' ceiling height, like yours, with the cabinets going up to ceiling and no soffet. This also shows plain white cabinets and putting the pattern on the backsplash. (This kitchen is much smaller than yours)
Q
Photo
What do you think about this look where the quartz wraps around island. $$$$$.
Q
Photo
White cabinets w/wood island.
Q
Photo
Visual of open concept-if you want kitchen and fam room to look completely as a combined space.
Q
Photo
If you double click to look at just this photo...Note the frig on the left is covered like a cabinet, then other appliances are stainless. I know that is a concern for you w/fingerprints, and thought this illustrates nicely that you can have both.
Q
Photo
Now noticing time and time again, frig-like cabinets, then other appliances in stainless. How do you like the color of the island with the white and against darker wood floor?
Q
Photo
Just want to point out visual of a large window and how it transforms a space.
Q
Photo
Nice.
Q
Photo
Here's an island w/2 levels...
Q
Photo
I really like the color scheme with added black for drama. Just getting your mind thinking. I really like the backsplash, and the display cabinets doors being in a contrasting color from the cabinet itself.
Q
Photo
Note the white cabinets and also white backsplash. Again island is done in contrasting cabinet ccolor

How do you feel about a Farmhouse sink such as this?
