Frazelle House 509 Lakeshore Ln
I like the simplicity
A little more traditional, but still works ..
Living room chandelier possibility
Another option for the end of fridge.
Ok - this is kinda clever for the end of your fridge!
Another clever way to close off clutter. You could have 3 of these on the wall just inside tv room.
I like the sliding doors on these open shelves. Also - shallow drawers like these are great, efficient storage.
Command center could be combined with desk space on either side for your boys ..
This is the room to the left when you come in our front door. I think we need new sofa and chair. The Japanese table and sake lamps are things my father brought back from his deployment to Japan in the ‘50s so I’d like to keep them in the mix. The rug is an antique that I inherited from my parents and I’d like to keep it somewhere too. And the chandelier stays. It came to my great great aunt from France to St. Louis in the 1800s. I like the contrast of the wooden beam and the crystal.
This wardrobe Id like to find a place for. It currently houses a bunch of my Spode blue Italian China serving pieces that I used to use as functional decoration in our old home where I had some built in book cases.
Looking into the house from the living room
I don’t know what to do about this fireplace! The things on here we just put there when we moved in. Nothing is sacred about this space. It’s a tall wall and I’d love to find a cool piece of art to go on it. I don’t think we should build a mantle around it, but I wonder?
Standing at the door and looking right. This is the odd entry way room. I don’t know what to do about the fan. I’m not committed to keeping the secretary but I do want to keep the China cabinet and the chaperone (the marble-topped thing that has a lamp and a crystal bowl where we put our keys and such)
The wall to the left (behind the China cabinet) will most likely come down and open up this space. We are wondering what to do about the wall behind the lamp. Currently it could hold some art.
This is the wall that you see right when you walk in our door. We are thinking a nice tall, narrow piece of art would look good there and be a bit more welcoming.
Art work that could go on a wall?
This is a view from the kitchen and the wall there will most likely come out and the door way filled in to give us a pantry in the kitchen and a place to put our trash can!
This barristers book case is just here trying to be functional in the dining room until we figure out what we are doing. I’d like it to have somewhere in the house.
The framed thing is a scarf of my mothers that I had framed years ago. I love the colors and design and would like it to have a spot somewhere.
The chest of drawers currently hold our silver and placemats and things. He doesn’t have to stay.
Turing around from the TV room/Den area, you see this....dining room and kitchen.
This is looking into our pantry and dog room. This space is going to be reconfigured somehow.
His is the TV room that needs some help. The bed will go. And we are thinking of building in a zoom bed into the wall shared with the office. The dresser that’s in the room is just there temporarily. And the couch and chair are old and need to be replaced. We’d like to replace the floor with something more dog proof. The suitcases and stuff along the right wall won’t be there (my mom is staying with us right now).
Trying to get a shot of the window in the entry way room that lets in a lot of light and its nice to be able to sit in that room and look up into the tree tops.
A view of the front door from the kitchen looking across the entry way room. Please ignore the pile of junk we collected this weekend to give away.
Like this look
I wonder about cabinets like these or others in the TV area so that we can have some storage?
We are hoping to replace the staircase rail up to our bedroom with something more transparent to like this to give the entry way more of an open feel
I like the feel of this look for the “entry way room” the low profile comfortable chairs for reading and display area for art, books or things
Love the black and gold
