Love this kitchen. We are thinking similar look for back wall with white box hood fan, One tall full height stack of cabinets at fridge and mudroom end. No uppers but maybe some floating shelves. Similar style backsplash same as countertop material.

We are thinking similar lay out as this kitchen, but main sink on island or if we do a peninsula... sink on peninsula (see drawings). Like the floating shelf with transom window above. Maybe we can float a shelf right across our existing window or move and create transom window(s).
