Love this entire thing. I think it would be pushing it but that you guys could get away with this simply because you're updating railings and almost everything else. And this is the light oak floors.

I'm not saying this exact kitchen is awesome, but the elements I love for your house are the traditional chandelier and crown molding with the island that has contrasting wood to the white cabinets.
