Everything's BIG in Texas.
No. I would never have a glass covered ceiling or, roof rather. But the area is smaller and can give you an idea of what you can accomplish in a small space.
Options
Circular bar is very cool! You don't have to lean over everyone seated to speak with folks on the other end!
Big, but functional. Not crazy about those column shapes either. If you attach to the kitchen side of the house where the door is, you can use the kitchen window as a pass-through. Leave an opening between the back wall and grill for easy access to the garage end of the home. I would suggest tying into the existing stone colors that you already have.

HAH! They even have a dishwasher?!
Just love to have a sink outside!
Okay, so you're going to want your grill built in, but it just goes to show that you don't have to do everything in block or stone.
You can have a bubbling stone or waterfall stone and it doesn't have to contain a lot of square footage.
Firepit in a pit
Okay, so you don't have a jacuzzi, pool or craftsman style home, or have a build on an incline. You can, however, dig in and make the firepit area lower than grade and have the wall all the way around. You can always put in the pool later...ha, ha!
