I really HATE this. Perhaps its the rugs, or the tiles, or the pine, because actually it has a lot of what we wanted... concrete, open plan, white kitchen etc. And yet it's horrible. NO NO NO.
Made the mistake of discussing this with my girlfriends and am now in love with some ice-crushing refrigerating behemoth, if we can fit it in. eg Samsung RFG23UERS 3-Door Fridge Freezer, Stainless Steel
We like the knobs on the side here, instead of pressing electrical things.
