Anyone used Coretec?

We’ve just moved into our home this past weekend and while we love the look of our Coretec (Klondike Contempo Oak) it has definitely gotten scratched in places. While I’m disappointed in this, I’ve read all over that it scratches easily, and it is what it is. I have 3 little kids so I’m sure it will happen more. Thankfully, we have not noticed any denting, which I was very afraid of after seeing some pictures of others’. All in all, we’re glad we got it (although if I could afford it I totally would have gotten the Castle Combe Grande Wilton hardwood). It looks really beautiful, like wood, and besides the small scratches it seems to be a quality, sturdy floor.

LOVE Klondike Contempo Oak! The pictures definitely show more variation than the actual floors have. That’s weird. Must be a lighting thing. They look very real!

Posting for anyone who may be searching the web for anything to do with COREtec: (as I just did that past 2 weeks)- this is how they are delivered & here is a picture of the same two pieces in 3 different types of light. So this is why every online picture looks different. I actually love the color much more than I did in the showroom! (Btw-These are Klondike, and no, I’m not going to cover the travertine) ;)

We just built a new home and had Klondike Contempo installed everywhere (all thanks to this thread! I researched and hemmed and hawed forEVER about flooring). It wasn't initially my first choice - I thought it was too dark and was hoping to go for a more old-look natural wood, and was afraid it had too much variance, but my husband liked it a lot and we both felt like it looked most like real hardwood. After it was installed and I saw photos before stepping foot inside, I thought it still looked too dark and doubted our choice (especially because we put it everywhere - no carpet or tile or anything else in our 4200 sq. ft.) but when I saw it in person I loved it! It really does look beautiful, and it does have variance but not so much that it's obnoxious (not to put down floors that are highly varied - that just isn't our style). Our builder (who has installed lots of Coretec) said it looks the most like real hardwood that he's seen and loves it more than any other type he's installed. He said he will be recommending it to all of his clients. We haven't moved in yet so I can't attest to its durability yet, but I'm hoping it will stand up to our three kids just fine (I very much think it will). One of the photos I've included has a picture of our beam, which has nothing to do with the flooring, but I couldn't separate them. The other is in our master bedroom. Hopefully this is helpful!
