10 years agoI think it's a great idea for someone with pets! Here's some I saw today at the flooring store here in Milwaukee and loved. Very realistic looking and loved the warmth and color variation. Sandal Wood in "Coconut".

Comments (3)Hi Mohit, As you rightly said that in Indian climate best is stone (Marbles, granite, sandstone etc.. ) or tiles. Before suggesting you something I would like o know your location in India and would analyse your lifestyle. While Marble seems to be an obvious choice for many its not the best material always. It is also expensive and needs high maintenance and not a sustainable material. All materials have their pros and cons. Its true wood does not essentially work in most of the climates in India however I must make you aware that there are very nice wood looking tiles available. 10 years agoI bought this tile for my living/dining room floor. We have two little kids and I don't want to deal with scratched-up wood floor :). It's very realistic looking, and it comes in different finishes too. It's MSI redwood mahogany 6x24 porcelain tile.

10 years agoYou could also look into the Vinyl Plank Flooring. Home Depot has a brand called Allure made by Trafficmaster. We just put it in our basement. Waterproof and it snaps together.
