where can I find the drawers for albums?

We made them. They are standard soft close drawer pulls. We just made the proportions of the drawers fit records.

Madame Architect is correct. :-) I was the cabinet maker for this job.

The main things you have to be careful about are the internal width of the drawer box, and the height from the drawer bottom to the inside top of the cabinet that the drawer is mounted in.

I used heavy duty undermount slides.

Do you mean plans for construction? There are many sites on the Internet that will have samples for you. The main issue is that local ordinances require setbacks from property lines and these free samples may not fit what your local building department may require. You can usually access the setback information from your building department online, but a trip down to talk to a planner may be necessary. Start there, finding a house plan that fits within that footprint is the second step.

So you're running two threads on this space? I think you'll be happier with the responses if you stick to one thread for the entire makeover, as it is all inter-dependent - foyer - living - dining. Now that I know that the living dining are together I'd suggest you use measurements from the blocked space above the windows to determine stripe width in the dining space if you go with the wide horizontal stripes I suggested. The pattern is already set for you if you take the measurements. You could also make the stripes the width of your lower window section, or half of it, but use the horizontal lines already in your space to determine the other stripes you may add.
