You are going to have to leave your comfort zone on this one. Walnut is "brown", you have "pink" as a counter top. I would suggest going with another version of the colours already in the room. you have gray/beige and white. I would hesitate going white...but it can be done. You can move into the grays and be very happy (it would look very modern) or you can move into a beige that holds a hint of pink in it (not pink...but a blush of warmth). Or you could go really wonky and add in something like a brushed stainless steel look to the cabinets and have it go "space age". There are specs of blue/gray in this counter top. The next think to look at is an "ashwood" or dark gray wood presentation that has some blue in it. It would lighten the space yet still add drama that dark cabinetry offers.

A soft, warm grey shade would look lovely, and can be as dark or light as you want. A warmer shade will work with the brown stained wood floor, and the grey will complement the black granite. You could have an undertone of green, blue or tan if you didn't want a pure grey. And it would look nice with any silver metal hardware, either polished or satin/brushed, so you could choose pewter, chrome or nickel. It would still work with white trim too.

this is looking good. finally someone on houzz has listened! Thank you. I would leave it as it is since any items you place up there needs to be maintained and that is one more task we would be adding to the lady of the houzz. but if you are still wanting to add something for that first client impression may be few large glass pickle jars or just two of three colourful glass sculptures. as would perhaps know - less is more in modern design.

Greetings From Dream Design, As per your inputs we are suggesting some ideas -If your kitchen is small then you can use totally white as cream lacquered look very nice and by this kitchen will look spacious -If your kitchen is big then you can play with colors like light grey on top and bottom same -You can take the different color top & below like white and light grey Or you can select the all the nice shades and share us the pic we will help you to chose from them which suit best and also share the kitchen plan As if you choose cream glass then you can take black refrigerator and black glass shutter , microwave ,chimney means all the appliances in black color it will contrast with your kitchen Don't use too dark colors in kitchen otherwise it will look dull after sometime
