No. If you really want a shower fixture, make sure there's a drain and a sloping floor (so no glass door or shower pan) and just hang a fixture on a reasonable sized piece of wall. And consider the costs, how long you planned on living there, will you use it for more than spraying plants or washing the dog, etc.

You can use natural stone like marble for floor but do not use granite for floor at all as it is very slippery when wet. As for tiles do not go for glazed vitrified tiles for the floor for the same reason. ( floor becomes slippery once wet and may cause mishap) Go for ceramic anti skid tiles that are specially meant for bathroom floor. For wall tiles you can use whatever you like and then decide over the matching anti skid floor tile/ marble. Double charged vitrified tiles are usually used for flooring in rest of the house.

HI Harsha , You may use paint over the tiles , if they are matt finish tiles so paint will be going to stay but wallpaper is never a good option specially in shower area , it will not be durable at all . Let us know if further help required . Thanks
