The compromise options are 1- Have the shelves slanted at an angle of 30 degrees. It shall increase the usable depth . It is quite possible without damaging the unit. 2- Most of the shoes will fit in 12 inches depth. May be size 10 and above will have space issues. Greetings! The best option for in this case is using a wallpaper. You get a lot of different kind of wallpapers from Metallic ones to floral prints and some nice fabric texture ones too. Having a fabric on the wardrobe is a tedious and high maintenance. Since you will be constantly touching your wardrobe shutters, the fabric may get dirty and even catch stains due to moisture or any dirt. Wallpapers today are more effective and easy to clean and maintenance free. The advantage of having wallpapers is that you can replace them after few years if you are bored of them and the process is pretty easy. Thanks Nitin and Ideal Lifestyle. Sorry for the late reply, I don't know why my net is not working properly from the last few days. Ny way, I actually see the foating kitchen cabinet in google image. May be that it not good for our Indian kitchen. I love the drawyer system that offered in modular kitchen cabinet. But at the same time I have no patience to dry the the kitchenware (cookware/dish etc.) after washing. Now we put it on the steel dish rack (commonly visible in Indian kitchen) hanged in our wall after every wash, which no need to first dry and then store. But I want to conceal the dishes, pressure cookers, kadhais in drawyers. In my dream kitchen big kitchenware should be concealed, hanging cookware like saucepan, tawa, frying pan would hang on s hooks in railing and open shelve for the dry goods in glass/tin/ceramic jar.

So i’m guessing you’re saying that oil paint/enamel paint looks cheap? That makes sense cause whilst i was growing up, the govt quarters came with oil painted doors and it chipped off in a few years in a sorry state. Don’t want that. So oil paint is out? What I’m gathering is that PU paint is not just paint. It’s a process? So you prime and paint(?) first and then do a protective coating of PU with the thinners and the additives? Am I getting this right? :P
