Do not put a desk in your bedroom it is all wrong. I am thinking dressing unit is a wardrobe and drawers for clothes. a floor plan would help.

You should broadly follow Vaastu as long as it doesn't upset the entire rhythm of a living space. There is no point in following all the diktats of Vaastu and finding it impractical when you are actually living in the space. It will be a constant source of irritation and THAT negative energy is far worse to live with. In my career I have found Vaastu consultants who also disagree with each other
