well i do trust him....but I m just concerned about the wallpapers....haven't really used them nor have seen anyone with that in the locality.....that's all....

As others have said, it depends on the space. As a child I loved velvet flocked because it was so "touchable" LOL! In my extended family we tend to use the velvet flocked in dining rooms, the foil in bathrooms, and a high quality wallpaper in other rooms. The design is totally reliant upon the space it is being used in. In our Victorian farmhouse most of the rooms have the big roses or hydrangeas appropriate to the period. The dining room has a gold foil with red velvet (see below). Photo taken by my cousin.

There are many kinds of accent walls and when you get it right- magic. Factor in how detailed you go, as little girls change into big girls in a blink of an eye. And then you are grabbing for a paint brush again, with a dark paint on the wall- that requires lots of primer and coats of paint to cover. Give us more detail if you need more specific advice... Furniture...color scheme... Bedding... Space... Childs age....
