I would suggest to put the colours you are looking for in a screen (like white + dark brown which is on your cupboard + grey if you want on the accent wall). Basically asking to create a colour palette to understand how it will look into the room. If in your budget you can change the laminate of your cupboard into a lighter shade. Like just normal finish laminate without any design. Maybe change the handles. This little change can make your room more bright and lifted.

Mamta, Your question is not very clear if you use laminate you would get veneer finish. There are textured wooden grain laminates but imho it does not look like veneer. Thanks, Nitin  Cornerstone designs, Bangalore
