Thanks for reaching out! If you have the proper size faucet spout, you can reduce or even prevent splashing. Some have complained of splashing, but the faucet spout used was too long for the sink basin. The basin is 11 5/8 inches from the back splash to the front of the basin. The drain is 3-3/4 inches from the back edge. Keep those dimensions in mind when choosing a faucet! Hope this helps.
