Yup, one on the right! Like the contrast and detail it adds.

Tge silver and gold are versatle though I like the pattern of the leftmost (3) to follow the lines of the cabinets. Otter-shaped items on the counter will break up the squareness Is that available in other colors?

I agree with you guys , even though the knobs will be silver , the gold in the backsplash looks good and will work !

I vote the one on the left - It's not the gold either. The right is already making me dizzy - Before you pull the trigger, I'd see if you can get a few more samples and put them together. I'd feel like I was in a fun house with all that pattern and movement.

IMO the one you first like is usually the one to go with so the one on the right don’t overthink this.

I am in the “it’s pretty but makes me dizzy” camp regarding the one on the right. I like the new arabesque tiles a lot!

A note on your handles. If installed horizontally...they WILL catch, grab and snag the pocket of your jeans/blouse/robe as you walk by. Rip! Don't use handles with open ends on the horizontal. Trust me on this.

The colors are great but the small tiles in a chevron pattern are too busy. A single color in a larger subway tile would look much better.

I have the same cabinets and handles and I have only ever caught a pocket on the verticals, so I am in the opposite camp as deborahhines above. Might be height related. I'm short.

The one on the right does make me dizzy - When installed it will create little boxes that you can't UNSEE - The left one is pretty, but I don't think it will stand the test of time. I had that arabesque pattern on my master bath floor (house was built in 1974). I ripped it out when we bought the house in 1988 - In my area of the country the arabesque is already on the way out. When redoing baths and kitchens, I always go with white and classic as it NEVER goes out of style. I add accessories etc, in shapes and colors I love that I can change over time if necessary.

when I reopened our discussion on the subject of your backsplash on my profile page your cover photo comes up in a small circled frame. Even in that small picture the one on the right pops. just sayin

Definitely the right! There is so much you can do with that mix and it is just darn good looking also!

I think the one on the right is a little busy also..but I like the overall style of it. What about something a little more subtle?

@sham814- The one @D Davis posted above looks much less busy and still gives you the look you may be going for.
