Ideas for backsplash and wall color?

Need some ideas for wall color and backsplash for our to be installed kitchen.The one in the pic is fine but I am considering the following options for backsplash. The countertop for island and kitchen would be a greyish granite as opposed to what is in the picture.

1. Grey tiles, lighter grey walls or white walls
2. Brownish stone like tiles, beige colored wall
3. Glass backsplash - white or grey

Would love your ideas please?

Herringbone tile is the way to go. The tiles on the pic are hand made. I would do the walls white and choose a back splash color similar to the pic, may be a light navy or something close. I hope this helps..
