yvonne, yes i guess we can use it in the dining. The dinining room is small and doesnt have any windows. the kitchen has a lot of natural light that will come across to the dining due to the open kitchen plan. We will be buying new furniture for the dining. We could buy a glass top table with wood chairs / wood table with wood chairs. The room will be painted offwhite similar color as the base of this fabric. All walls will be painted the same color by the builder, Afer taking possession of the house we can repaint it where needed for accent wall etc. Its an appartment, we live in India.

Hi Emran, What a great size room you have. You need to create two sitting areas within the space, and pull them into the room (get them off the wall), also I can see from the fantastic chandelier that you have, that the dining table must stay where it is. I would recommend you go with 3 large area rugs, at least 10x12 looking at the size of your room. I would use traditional rugs with different patterns, yet similar colours so that they all work together. Visit alexanian.com for many rug ideas. They ship throughout Canada and US. Do they have to be paint buckets? I would think they would not be good for gardening? Maybe others will know more about that. But in the U.S. you can get 5 gallon buckets from some local businesses like bakeries, food store chains, places like those that regularly use items they get in the buckets. For instance a bakery usually gets stuff in 5 gallon buckets and often has to throw them into a dumpster as they can only save so many. Some businesses now sell them for a small fee, maybe 1 dollar U.S. each and some just give them away. I think the cost of shipping them to India would be more than the cost of buying them. You could try setting up a fund on Kiva.org and possibly get enough donations to purchase food grade buckets instead of using ones from paint. @BeverlyFLADeziner: No, I'm not assuming the back has a finish. If you are referring to the cable being visible, or the approach to route it under the sofa would not work, there are two options: Align the table so that the "backless" back is up against the side of the sofa. So, flip it 90deg compared to the image of a sample sofa and this table posted earlier. The cable can be stuck along the curved edge of the table on the back, so that it is not visible. This way, it gets down to the floor along a surface that people cannot see as opposed to dangling through the hollow portion of the table.
