Is the electrical outlet for the counter space going to be right next to the switch, or is it that blurred spot that I see in the picture, . If your walls are Travertine marble, and there are not already electrical boxes in the exact location the lights go, we are going to have a hard time. If a 30" vanity goes in the corner, and you leave 5" on each side for the lights, that leaves a 20" mirror with one light jammed tight into the corner. So if we leave another inch on both sides, for clearance, that leaves 18" mirror. If you put a 3" frame around the mirror mirror, that only allows for 12" of actual mirror. I don't think that is enough mirror. Your bath is too narrow for a mirrored cabinet with built in lights unless it is recessed into th wall. The plumbing is probably in the way for that. Give me your thoughts on what I have just said, and then go back and answer all my questions. Then we can take it from there with a narrower down and focused search....See MoreBathroom wainscoting and window height
Comments (2)Thank you so much for your response - and the encouragement. What I can do is buy a beadboard panel tall enough for an entire wall and have HD cut this down. I may find this to be a good deal less expensive anyway, though kits are cheap. Quality, I'm not so sure about. I'll just get the best I can. When I look at the sites that truly specialize in good-quality beadboard, thiers are also thin cladding and 32 inches high, so customizing is the way I'll need to go. The kits offer moldings that are exact fits, and this is attractive to me because I'll be asking for help with this from contractor who I think anticipates doing dry wall. It's a gift job, so want to make it very easy. I think the panels and moldings cut to size though will not be a problem. I'll get all supplies and corner mold, etc. I wonder now about back splash above marble vanity sink. How do y"all do it in your business if wainscot extends a little above the sink....See Moreshould bathroom counter/sink match shower walls?
Comments (5)For a cohesive look, it's recommended to use the same Onyx color/pattern for both the vanity counter/sink and the shower walls. However, incorporating complementary colors can add visual interest and depth to the bathroom design. Consider using similar tones or coordinating patterns to achieve a harmonious yet dynamic aesthetic....See MoreBathroom mirror tiles non skid
Comments (1)Opt for mirror tiles in a herringbone pattern to create an illusion of space. Use light-colored tiles to brighten up the small bathroom. Install non-skid tiles for safety. Consider a floating vanity to keep it airy. Add open shelving for storage without clutter. Voila, a stylish and functional small bathroom!...See Moreamyalbano
