I like the ceiling. I think the hanging lights are too fancy and distract from the ceiling decor. A simpler light would look better or sticking with the canned lights you have. The walls have too many big, black things on them. It's hard to tell if they are windows with shade --- in which case I'd pick something lighter, perhaps to echo the ceiling, TVs (how many do you need?) or what. I'd consider a big piece of statement art in the place of at least one. If you're on a budget, get a large, high quality photo in the right colors, you can take it yourself. Sepia and black architectural might work. I like more color and more natural light. You may have closed the shades for a better picture, so it's hard to comment on the light, plus windows are a feature of your room, not exactly a decorator's choice. I would consider how to get a few small pops of color in, pillows, flowers, candles, maybe even a runner rug along the right wall. If you are doing this as part of a portfolio, the entire ensemble would look more welcoming with a few touches like someone lives there. Something on the coffee table, for example. A few books and a candle. A tray with tea things, a vase of flowers or basket of fruit. Pick one or two things and make it composed. You see this a lot in designer Houzz photos. Hi Divi. As per the plan , you must go for bigger windows then those shown in the plan . I believe that the center curve dotted line in the plan is open to the sky. That much will do. On the left side of the plan there's O.T.S. then two toilets are planned. I would suggest you should have it in the center of both the toilets for better ventilation and exhaust. In kitchen plan there are no windows shown in the plan , if there are no windows planned , then you must have it on one wall for proper exhaust and day light. Can you tell me about the DR room in your bedroom next to drawing room?If its a dressing room , then change the plan of the bedroom. Put the dressing room next to the toilet of size 7'8"x 5'4". That way your bedroom will have more light with bigger window. For any other query, you are most welcome.

Dear Mr. Amal, I am Ravi Prakash and I am an Architect. Congrats, You are fortunate to have a 1790sqft. 3bhk unit keeping in mind that its gurgaon. Just a little query; is it built-up area or carpet area? Built-up area is everything while carpet area is area we get excluding the walls (or simply the floor area). As you have not mentioned much of your requirement, i am assuming you are looking for complete work including kitchen, ceiling, paints, furniture's and more. Just for a tentative idea, a decent (basic to moderate) interior work may vary from Rs. 800/sqft.-1500sqft). And if its a high end work it may cost Rs.2000/sqft and higher. For your help, based on my experience and observation i would say, its safer to keep the budget around Rs.1000/sqft.- Rs.1200/sqft. to get the best quality work. So, roughly it may cost you around Rs.18 Lacs (or Rs.15lacs for lower side). Also Keeping in the mind that its an apartment, your builder must have provided you with some basic works like flooring, electrical, plumbing and such thing, these things may help to cut down and reduce the cost up to certain level. The main sink is right on the corner -- only one place to put things down. Behind the sink is not a great option. Other sink -- prep sink? hand-washing sink? bar sink? seems to be too fancy and not very practical for a kitchen space. Save that kind of sink for a guest powder room. Any sink in a hard-working kitchen needs to be flexible and purposeful. The exhaust fan above the cooktop seems too high up and not wide enough. Trust me -- mine is not wide enough, and I wish it was, but at least it's not too high up. I appreciate in this sleek, modern design, you want a very low profile exhaust fan. But -- you need the capture area to be wider than your cooktop so you can capture all the grease, steam, and smoke. One advantage you have is that there are no cabinets there to limit the width of your exhaust fan -- so widen it up. It's a must in a hard-working kitchen, especially one with a somewhat open floor plan. I don't know how you will use your kitchen or what the rest of your home is like. You may value a sleek, beautiful kitchen way more than a hard-working, efficient space, in which case, most of my comments are lower priority.
