I have a sitting area cum dining area of 300 sq ft which is adjacent to my kitchen ( 120 sq ft ). Over all colour theme is white and in STRAIGHT LINE. All cabinets in the kitchen are of white colour with grey Italian tiles and Siemens equipments. Have bought off white (leather) seven seater sofa with a coffee table with a frosted green glass top. The area left for the dining is approx 90 sq ft. My questions are : 1. Should i go in for a square dining table with six chairs or eight chairs. What should be the area of the top. 2. Should I go in for a rectangular table with six chairs or eight chairs. What should be the area and size of the table top. Have selected one with an area of 21 sq ft with a frosted green glass top. The fabric on the chair uses is black. 3.should I go in for a round table. What should be the dia or radius. Have selected one six chair Armani casa table with a radius of 2.5 sq ft. It is black in colour. The glass top is also black and the fabric on chair is also black. 4. What will be the best colour combination keeping in view the kitchen, sofa etc in mind. Pl advise.... I

Pasting of tiles is very easy to do and used frequently in modern day practice. Few points to remember - 1. Cleaning of existing terrazzo. It should be done professionally with good quality chemicals. 2. Filling of gaps. Since terrazzo is composite material usually a 5 yr plus floor will have some undulations. They need to be scraped and filled in. 3. Pasting should be done with good quality adhesives and since you are living in the same place...care needs to be taken that after pastIng you do not disturb the floor for Atleast 30 hours. Make sure to follow the instructions on adhesive packing, they are simple n clear. 4. Take care to maintain a minimal slope towards the terrace or the toilets. Now about choice of colors - 1. NO need to think about wall color...that's something most people change every few years. 2. Thinking about furniture if it's something you don't want to change is good. 3. Pastel shades like cream, beige are easy to maintain. Gloss finish adds brightness and makes the space look larger. 4. If the house is small it is advisable to use same tile color all over. Hi Shivam, I hope you are doing good. There is no particular tile size that may look good as it completely depend kind of design you have in your perspective. If you are looking at more traditional interiors then generally smaller tiles with motifs or emblems look good which have a representative geometrical or floral patterns. If you are looking at more modern interiors then generally bigger tile sizes are preferred for clean look less joints.  Regards, deSigneR
