Modular Kitchen revamp

I have a 9X7 modular kitchen designed by sleek

However i am not very happy as the kitchen doesn’t look organised or spacious

i Mo was advised against the hood as I have a window right behind the stove

i have gadgets like microwave mixer fryer toaster

however I need to plug out one to plug in another which is cumbersome

i need my my small kitchen to look spacious and organised

please advise

Hello there,

Your Kitchen feels cramped because of these:

1. Dark laminate in small spaces.
2. No crockery organizer and utensils rack.
3. Too much modular divisions.
4. Loft cabinets missing open racks and hangers.
5. Separate space and switch board for small appliances.

Suggested Modifications :

1. Upgrade laminate to matte neutral/grey tones
2. Install open racks for spatula, ladles and spices.
3. Try to install large modular cabinets in the loft.
4. Separate a corner space and install a switch board (2x3 suggested) with 3x 16A 3 pin and 2x 2 pin 6A plugs.

U should have seen the design early!!

any modular kitchen shall be kept minimal, hood near window, if it's possible to alter the window?? please check

Electrical points you can extend now also.

Color of laminate, if dark you can replace it now also,

Anyways not much to worry, it can be done with few alterations!!!

SN,

Any space looks cluttered because it is.

Looking at the pics it seems you may have to do away with a lot of unwanted stuff lying around in the kitchen.

You can get an extension board for smaller appliances. For heavy duty ones you will have to rely on limited plugs provided.

Limited space definitely calls for time to time de Clutter!

Alongside that, you can explore if there is option of moving out refrigerator & have additional full height storage made + overhead shelves if possible towards window wall!

If you have utility, you can get additional storage there, share plan of your house with pics to verify possibilities!
