Looks like end of switch plate is start of ur wash basin. That is why Start the mirror from switch plate end it on same point of the other side of wash basin. If u want little wider extend a bit. Start the mirror ht from white line of tile at the bottom and end it again on white line above leaving only grey part to be seen.

Having a big mirror facing you could keep you engaged before sleeping and may thus cause a little late sleeping.
