Put the sofa on the 12' wall, and the TV on a credenza against the 8' wall. My living room has an 8' wall where the room extends out creating a covered entryway. The room is 13' wide and 16' long so our TV has always been on that wall, and it's worked very well. The couch is in the middle of the 16' wall.

Hello Swati, You may first want to decide whether you want the TV to be floor/ ceiling/ wall mounted. The answer will vary based on that. You can buy the swivel online or your nearby TV stores.
