My bedroom was the last place I put energy and money into decorating after we moved into our house two years ago. So it was about time to get rid of that ugly queen sleigh bed and update to a mid century king bed with floating nightstands.

I thought getting a king bed would shrink the room space but actually the low platform bed profile makes the room feel larger because there isn't a huge footboard cutting off the middle of the room anymore.
