Sorry but I don't understand your pictures. You are talking about 2 bathrooms but we see only one floor plan. Is the 1.52M x 2.24M the 5 x 8 bathroom in your dilemma title. If so, can we see the floor plan of the 5 x 9 bathroom? Is the space with a small rectangle in the middle the extra 5.5 x 4.9 ft space you mentioned in your dilemma? Also 1.52M x 2.24M is in reality 5'0" x 7'4". This is 8 in. less. It can make a big difference on how to place fixtures in a bathroom.

Do they have to be paint buckets? I would think they would not be good for gardening? Maybe others will know more about that. But in the U.S. you can get 5 gallon buckets from some local businesses like bakeries, food store chains, places like those that regularly use items they get in the buckets. For instance a bakery usually gets stuff in 5 gallon buckets and often has to throw them into a dumpster as they can only save so many. Some businesses now sell them for a small fee, maybe 1 dollar U.S. each and some just give them away. I think the cost of shipping them to India would be more than the cost of buying them. You could try setting up a fund on Kiva.org and possibly get enough donations to purchase food grade buckets instead of using ones from paint. I think kitchen and eating area should be next to each other and kitchen should be near or next to an entry for ease in putting away food stuff. The sitting area should be near an outside view to add relaxed vibe to area and the TV should be opposite sofa for easy viewing.....sometimes necessary to move the TV and rewire accordingly. Hi Padmaja, im pooja talwar, for maximum utilization of space u need to break in balconies if u have one and get french windows right till ground level. so you can have a lovely dining area there or low ground sitting area where u can get outside view and spacious look too. doors which open inwards or outwards can be split into 2 so the door flaps become smaller . use mirrors huge ones carved ones on walls to reflect a larger room. also u will have to place furniture which is smaller in size . shoe racks , and cabinets can be made tall instead of having it on ground .... place on the wall hanging shelves , tall cabinets , and storage cabinets. tv can be placed on wall done up with wooden pannel. have storage up on ceiling edges rather than any where down. hope these lil suggestions help you
