Advice on internal stairs
Comments (4)Rajesh--I would consult with a designer/architect in your part of the world to correct the reiling deficiency. I cannot speak to building codes in what I am guessing is the far east, but your local architect can. Attachment of the railing, to the floor and to the stairs, in terms of rigidity and support are important, as the rail will slope by the steps, and need to transition to a straight rail at the landing, and terminate into the white wall at the landing. Also, the architect can verify that the steps meet codes in terms of rise and run and the gaps btw. the steps, which would not pass code here in the U.S. I cannot see the while inside wall as you ascend the stair, so all I can suggest is installing a nice piece of art, possibly a triptych, of something culturally fitting for your part of the world. I wish you well in your design pursuits....See Moremetal railings suggestion
Comments (3)Do you have rules where you live about spacing of spindles can you have horizontal ones? These are interesting stairs I might be tempted to talk to a metal worker and get something custom....See MoreNeed help for staircase placement.
Comments (1)You really don't have the floor space for a stairway on that plan, even a spiral. If possible, try to squeeze out some space next to the entry door to avoid having it in the middle of the plan. It might not cost a lot of additional money to have the stairway as a bump-out along with the front door....See Morestair case
Comments (1)Best thing to do is to enter search terms in the Houzz search bar and review photos. You can save those that you like in an ideabook and you may end up mixing several ideas to get what you want. Try different terms to filter photos....See MoreUser
