The contractor's joinery department to our drawings.

Very nice design! Is it an MDF string outside of the glass and how did they fix this and the glass so seamlessly? Do the oak treads and risers sit on a carcass? Many thanks

MDF plate fixed to the stringer, I had suggested a carcass, but they made it as a traditional stair. They were pretty good on tolerances, their joiner works to about the same tolerance I can measure to (+/- 2mm)
