ceiling speakers issues...

i am doing up my house and i forgot to get the ceiling speakers installed . the false ceiling is done and the lights are installed. i spoke to my contractor he said there is no way possible that we can pull cables thru the false ceiling as the space is really tight and frame work is complicated with light cables and air conditioner pipes already running through.. i really want the ceiling speakers.. is there any solution ?? there is no wireless solution available . number of speakers to be installed 12 on 2 floors.

You need to get this information locally in India. Your local AV store will be much better suited to answer your questions. That said, hiding the speakers instead of having them on the wall is certainly better from a design standpoint.

SP if the slope is 3 inches from one side to the other then you are right you will loose close to 4-5 inches just to cover the gap and then any design will take further space. Ceiling doesn't seem high enough so you can have a max of level ceiling and a 1.5 ft perimeter border. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore.

hey you can go for pvc false ceiling, they are durable and have many design options. you can also install bronze glass if you would like a different touch to the room.

Sonam, It may be based on the type of sound you are trying to achieve. For some surround systems ceiling speakers are required. It is so invisible/camouflaged in the ceiling that I do not see a reason of why they someone should consider it outdated. But you said that the speaker is for 800 bucks ? make sure you are getting a good one. Thanks Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore.
