I think that is more about what you like, concrete usually denotes a more modern feel, almost industrial if that is your style do concrete if not find a tile you love and do that.

You need to create two sitting areas within the space, and pull them into the room (get them off the wall), also I can see from the fantastic chandelier that you have, that the dining table must stay where it is. I would recommend you go with 3 large area rugs, at least 10x12 looking at the size of your room. You have three different laminate floors. If you want unity, you need to decide what will give you unity faster. The floors are close enough to ignore there differences.
