Hi Ra, I really like the way you have "played" with top cabinets in the kitchen to maximize the storage space (maybe I would have done it in white, but that's just an opinion). I'd like to know the way they have been set up, did you use some structure to hang them and increase the resistance?

Hello Gopa, You can do a partition with plywood on wooden frame. Go for a door with hinges as there is no benefit of a sliding door in terms of light . What is your intent for having a openable vs sliding door. Please be aware that after making an additional room the living room will look dark and long/ narrow. You can have a transome on the door in case privacy is not much of an issue. You will however have to depend on artificial lighting in case a full partition is done. Dear Khurshid, Ask your builder if the double height terrace can be used for staircase. That way you can shift your dining table to the present staircase area which is just adjacent to your kitchen and still can keep it double height which will also serve as entrance area. Doing so you get more additional space for your living area and can have a more comfortable seating arrangement. Also by shifting your staircase to double height area makes more sense as you can still use it as terrace seating. You don't even need to have rcc staircase. Go with metal staircase with wooden treads. Which is space saving and looks super cool. Its a penthouse so do something out of the box.
