You could easily make this space brighter and more airy with the use of some clever lighting! How about investing in a floor lamp? And perhaps some cushions in contrasting colours to liven the room up?
One of the ways to add to the scheme you have put together is to consider a larger rug... If you choose a side for the armchairs for example facing the sofa and have them side by side.. but with some room so the eye filters between..
Another idea... How about a glass coffee table to sit on a larger sized rug.. The glass lends itself to viewing the details in the rug and also feels less solid.. In this way it balances the room beautifully and the decorative glass? could sit perfectly on it.. For lighting this lamp pictured would be perfect for the style of your room.... :))
Hi, have to agree with Ocean about making the room brighter with some lighting as it does seem a very dark room and you are not showing off your furniture to the best of its potential. As suggested you could add in some floor lamps, not sure why but these are our best selling line at the moment. The ones below is our top 2 at the moment but we do have a wide range of other ones if you want to take a look you can find these by clicking here: Floor Lamps I've also noticed you have got some items on display, you could add in some lighting to your shelves to highlight the nice glassware you have for example. You can see the range of undercabinet lighting we have by clicking here Undercabinet Lighting whilst these are very popular with our customers at the moment for use in Kitchens, these can be used anywhere for accent lighting and are very simple to install. Feel free to drop us an email though to info@thebulbco.com or give us a call on 0161 737 7333 if you need any help with any lighting.
